24,600 miles
1 year's MOT
6 months Tax

There are superficial surface scratches on some of the plastics and tank which I have been told would buff out with the right polish. There are also some paintchips on the tail piece and grab handles but other than that it's in pretty tidy condition. All the panels fit properly although there is one missing panel pin, it has just had new front brake pads and rear wheel bearings fitted by myself.

It has a non-standard stainless two-into-one exhaust (by Gazelle Exhausts) with some minor scratches that appeared after I lent the bike to a friend of mine ranting.gif but again, they should polish out reasonably well. Exhaust sound is 'fruity' but not offensive.

I have some service history, receipts etc.

Other extras include a Touring Scottoiler which would be included in the sale, and a spare, higher screen

I also have a Givi three box kit fitted to the bike. The boxes and top plate are NOT included in the sale unless the buyer wants them.

£2,100 without the boxes
£2,300 with them

Would consider straight swap for equivalent valued ZX9-R, Fireblade, Thunderace

Bike is located in Letchworth, Herts

I don't mind the hi-jacking of the thread as long as someone buys the bloody bike! wink.gif

Seriously, how do I tell the actual model? VIN? Cosmetic/chassis differences? All help gratefully received.

True, true. However, I would have hoped that someone looking for this particular model might have found their way to the site and then on to the For Sale section. Oh well. dry.gif

Yup, a '97 bike with a '99 reg, not thaat I'm bothered though.

Rog, fancy selling the boxes and rack seperately? Don't worry about postage, I can sort that out myself, can get it couriered to my door for next to nothing (benefits of having a brother that works for a courier firm smile.gif )

Right now, I'd miss the boxes as I'm still using the bike once a week or so and use, at the very least, the back box each time. I'll bear in mind you've put in a bid for them, so to speak, and let you know if they come available anytime soon. Fair enough?
