BIKE IS SOLD, THANKS FOR YOUR INTEREST
OCT. 2006

Hello all,

I have been a lurker here for awhile and unfortunately, I have decided to sell my bone-stock 1992 Yamaha TDM. This bike has been great to me, but the pavement has lost its charm since the ’06 KTM 640 Adventure showed up in my garage. The TDM is in excellent physical and mechanical condition with 17,200 miles. The only thing I added was stainless steel axle adjusters (after I imploded the AL ones). The bike was always garaged and maintained properly. It has never been down, dropped or abused in any way that is out of the norm smile.gif. I am asking $3,300 USD obo.

I guess I don't need to explain the virtues of this bike to anyone on this forum! I will say this though: If you have been looking for one for a while, this is the one you want. It is waaayyy cleaner than most I have seen for sale and it is in its prime.

I bought this bike new in 1992 and have been the only one to ride it. Due to various things in life getting in the way, it has only seen about 100 miles a year for the last 5 years. Tires and battery have less than 1,000 miles on them. I have the owners manual, the title, all the service records and even some vintage 1992 magazine articles about it. Comes with a Lockhart magnetic tankbag, a vinyl ¼ tank protector, canvas saddlebags and a bike cover.

PM me for photos or questions…
