I've got a gel padded widened seat, airhawk and softened the suspension, but still suffer. It feels like I need to take some weight through the pegs, which brings me to the request.
Someone here recently got lower pegs as I remember the gear linkage lengthening part of the post, but can't remember who posted or what the original subject was, but I'm sure there was a link to the kit. Any help please.

You're not the first person to suggest more miles, and that could be the answer, but my mileage has never been great, and hasn't dropped, but the problem is getting worse. SWMBO suggest liposuction from front to rear!! Could work.....
EDIT....she sent me this...

600 miles in 3 days ain't for sissys...
I rode my 9er 1200 miles in 3 days, with just a season of short trips before. Yes, a pain. But it got better over the 3 days. How about you? Better or worse the 3rd day?

It was indeed Pete, however, Cliffs best efforts didn't help at all.

I did 3000 odd miles in 13 days on the Royal Enfield, but the seat is very wide and softly sprung. That was two 350 mile days getting down there. Long hours at 65mph max.
I can do 300 a day on the Niner no worries. I got a Top sellerie seat with gel insert built in, then use an air hawk on that. Less hours as you don't have to hide behind buses in a headwind.
You can get special underwear that doesn't crease which is said to help your nether regions. Training up for the Ironbutt Rally are you ?
Norwegian lowered his pegs with fancy bits but needed a longer gear rod.

I use compression sports underwear. Same idea as cycling shorts, but cheaper, particularly if you buy from Aldi like wot I did. No-messin' black too.
I have zero rear padding but have managed 400 mile days on a standard 900 seat.

Thanks Chris, but was wearing padded cycling shorts under bike kit on days 1 and 2.
I know 600 is not huge mileage, but we were on B roads much of the time, bumbling,so more hours involved than suggested by miles.
Thanks everyone for ideas and graphics!! I'm going to use the next few weeks experimenting. You've not seen the last of my arse yet!!
