Were you there on your bike Cavey?
I went through Prevesa going down to Lefkada on my 850 4 years ago..........Dapleb and I will probably be around there in a few weeks time.
Anywhere you recommend there?

I was mucking around in boats.
Lefkas town - there's a restaurant just off the main drag called The Lighthouse - fantastic, simple, honest and cheap grub. Really friendly owner and top maccaroons, on the house, for pudding! Not too hard to find but you may need to ask...
Nidri on Lefkada - good night out boozing. (Hired a Transalp from here, stuck the Mrs on the back and pootled round to the West Coast as you can't get to many places by boat)
Vasiliki on the South coast of Lefkada - another late night out on the beer - the Zeus Bar is the one to head for. Don't eat at Penguins - expensive and average.
I'd reccomend a boat trip to Spartikorhi (spelling?) on Megganissi. Stunning views over the "Inland Sea" there.
On the mainland, north or Preveza, go to Sivota (aka Mourtos). V pretty place. Hire a putt putt boat and have a pootle around the islands there - great swimming etc. Also there's the best pizza place I've ever eaten in here - stone oven burning olive wood with proper Italian chef who chucks the dough around in the air etc..... They do take out too so get one for lunch the next day to take with you!!! The bars shut at 0500 here!!!
Have a great time!!

I've eaten in the Lighthouse Cavey .........when I was over last time my g/f flew across to Prevesa and we island hopped for a fortnight, stayed in Lefkas town for 5 days - she worked there for Thomas Cook 15 years previously......wonderful restaurant owned by the local butcher up the hill past the windsurfing school......you got half a sheep for about 10 euros!
