and they mention an MT02 based on the twin engine from the TDM

no pics to scan
no other mention from TDM

this is the "retro-styled" MT05

hmm I brought 2 of those with me last week from Tienen. I guess I should start reading them rolleyes.gif

They also mention a new yamaha large cc all road bike (not unlike the super tenere). Now that would have my interest: a true all road TDM that can compete with the KTM adventure and BMW GS...

I spoke to the Yamaha dealer in Edinburgh who says he's heard nothing about a dual-purpose big trailie style bike from Yamaha, but he said that the mt-02 will definitely be a 1000cc V-twin with a top fairing. cool.gif

That is THE UGLIEST thing on 2 wheels that I have ever seen! puke.gif
Retro styled? As in Back to the Future? What is 'retro' about it besides the V-twin.

well a bulldog enjun is akin to a damp hanky from what the ever so accurate m/cycle press say !!!

spyball alarm/immob, bluespot brake calipers and Stainless hoses, Fournales air adjustable shock with Remote Resevoir, forks raised 10mm thru yokes, racetech linear fork springs in 15 wt oil, Kappa wingrack/luggage, heated grips, Kedo handguards, dual heat controller to power heated jacket liner and or pants!!, Stebel 136DB horn, K&N air filter, colour matched Baglux tank cover (magnetic tank bag modified to fit cover), osram +50% headloight bulbs, headlight protector,"NitramSpecial" parking loight, tail light indicators all running on LED's & incorporate "Lite Buddies", MK7 Scottoiler fitted, taller screen, 2-2 stainless steel CCC's, Devil stainless down pipes. MKI Renntec engine crash bars & sump guard.
engine changed july 2007 on a dyno run it made 79.1BHP / Torque 59.9Had a brief flirtation with a 1999 MKIIa but it blew an exaust valve on the M5 so was sold on to be repaired.

I loike tay and hang sangwiches !

You'll love the pic. of a black one at My Webpage
(Gives an even better profile of the plumber's nightmare, drive, and especially those front disks!)

Don't be fooled by the 65 bhp, the bt1100 enjun has 88Nm torque at 4500rpm that's more than you can say of the TDM. It is true that it feels a bit lazy in its standard fit, but all the bulldog riders I know have tweaked their bike with new exhausts, k&n, and dynojet kits. These mods make 'm serious hooligan bikes.

yeah, and it mustn't weigh any more than a set of saucepans.

I like the BT1100 BULLDOG and would quite happilly own one, I also like the MT01, but to own one of these I would have to adapt it to be able to carry a pillion who is taller than 3' 7'', and move the exhausts down to a more normal position so the pillion doesn't have to have their burnt trousers replaced after every ride.
