Got an mot today, no advisories.  Just sayin' :D  God it's loud though, esp. after riding the 9'er with oem zorsts. Could do with a pair of Fuel cans for £50 cough, cough. Might actually go for a starship enterprise.

A bit spluttery under 2500rpm but nothing a bit of fettling won't sort.  Actually felt better on the way back home so might clear it up with some Redex in the tank.

What cans you got on it now, still the single sided MTC?  I've still never heard anything quite as loud as those stubby's Tony had, although my Laser ProStock wasn't exactly quiet, bloke I bought those from was selling because he worked shifts and they were way to loud for his 4am commute :D  think they're on JHT's Mk2 now.

Hmmm, pretty sure mine is louder than yours chrisbee.

Still wearing the MTC Chris. A set of Lasers on ebaygum but I think they're the noisy 'not suitable for street use' wans. http://www.ebay.co.u...s-/291953676920  Pro stocks I had on my first mk1 were street legal and sounded/looked really nice.

I can assure you the "not for road use" marking comes off quite easily with the grinding/sharpening stone on a dremmel :-D

Pretend it's a 2T 250 trail bike and you're 17. You'll soon forget about the flat-spot!

First registered in March 1993 Sam.

  Seems to be better now I've had a blast, well the flat spot is.  Nearly back home and the bike started spluttering and then stalled on me when I set off at the lights, still a bit spluttery when I got it going.  Still got some fuel in the tank so wondering if the fuel pump needs revitalising. :unsure2:  Gonna try the arseytate diy jobby.

Looks like a well travelled bike I've got here Chris. :)  Been looking on t'interweb for zorsts, plenty to choose from.

Thing is, it's hard to know what they sound like.  Still leaning towards the quiet enterprise, but no rush to make a decision yet.

Took it for a blast over to Mick's and see his noo steed.

Looks even better in the flesh and he had no trouble keeping up with me on the way to the cafe. :D

Should be ok, you've got Delkavik headers on which are a pattern version of the Yamaha originals.

Cheers for that. :good: Are you sure Chris, only mine aren't nice and blingy like delkevics are.  :P

Seem to remember also that the mk1 and mk2 ennerprises might be slightly different and the bracket bolt holes don't line up.  Will see how it goes.
