Having just incurred some unexpected outgoings ranting.gif I might have to look at selling the TDM as it is. I reckon that if it's running problem was sorted out the bike would be worth in the region of £2,500 but SERIOUS OFFERS are invited.

2000 model (Dutch import) in good condition.
Speedo now reads in mph
12 months mot, 5 months tax
Less than 25,000 miles
Tall, tinted screen (original included)
Touring Scottoiler
Sports rack

See here for running problem http://www.carpe-tdm...p?showtopic=581
This will make an excellent bike for someone, whether they choose to fix it themselves or take it into a bike shop.
I don't have any photos at the moment but can take some if there's any interest.
So,come on,makeme an offer................................

I know what you mean, my mate has just bought a UK model W reg silver and yellow one, with all the Yamaha hard luggage fitted and 24,000 miles for a measly £1400 I can't believe how cheap they are going for. Or maybe there are a lot of desperate folks about(for money that is)

A brand new TDM is great value for money, you should get one for not too much over £5000, so it figures that early 900s will be down to in or about £3500, possibly less, so why would you pay £2500 for an older model TDM. huh.gif

That's the problem with buying a good value bike, it loses money very fast. If you spent £9000 on a beemer you'd probably sell it for more than £8000 a year later, so maybe in the long term they're better value. blink.gif
