Says there's too many pictures to post on one thread, and if I reply to my other thread with the rest it says when they merge there'll be too many of them. Hence a second post. Mods please feel free to stick them together if you can (or delete them if there's a reason why I'm not allowed to post this many

Big Dave, Saga Lout, Aircooled's mate (sorry, I'm crap with names), MarkyMark and Danny boy at the bar

"When I tried it before Megan helped me put it away..."

Catsbum's OCD kicks in

Mmmm, campsite espresso

I don't think that translates as "The grottiest Carpe-TDM"

"Boucle Carpe Diem"... whatever that means

Kris and Tony at the Grotte de Grand Roc

where the houses are built in to the cliff

Myself and Tony thinking about fois gras

Edith (Mrs Guinness) looks on in horror as Tony puts ketchup on cake

Dandys rather camp fire

Oradour-sur-Glane

Pulling over for a leg stretch, Kris, Tony, Poldark and myself realised we had stoves, mugs, coffee and cake

though someone did try and hide the cake

Foraging for extra snacks

I seem to have gained a passenger

Unsurprisingly Chateaubriant seems to have a Chateau

And a mighty fine creperie

Never mock the person who seems to have brought excess luggage space

Kris, myself and Poldark (with Tony behind the camera) setting up camp for the last time at Mont Saint Michel

I was getting a bit hungry by this point

With several bottles of red wine on the go things started to get a little blurry at this point

and for some it's a bit too much

but at least someone's doing something usefull rolleyes.gif

Sunday morning and it's off to Mont St Michel

TeDeum, Syra, Poldark, Tony and Kris at the entrance

er...

After a good blag from Kris we're in to the monastry for a fraction of the price and with no queuing

"Your mother was a hampster and your father smelled of elderberries!"

Chris was worried at how long his egg was taking, while Tony and I were more concerned by how big it was

A very big fireplace

trying for an arty shot

I think this is where Kris developed her obsession with buttresses

Tony goes for a calendar shot

you can never have too much cake

see no evil, think no evil, eat no evil

Dinner on the sea wall while waiting for the ferry

Not convinced Martyn's recovered from last nights wine yet

The last cake!

Another boring night & I'm feeling pissed....

In the 1st pic I was actually just looking across at the shop wondering about going back to buy some more cake!

In the 2nd I was dupped by ChrisG & Tony into checking the alignment of my cans (in fairness they'd actually spotted that my r.h. can had a bent bracket) but I feel sure now that this was all just a ruse to create this photo opportunity!

Before you'd even finished the first of your 2 cakes. A proper TDM rider! laugh.gif

I do recall we'd only gone in to find out when she was shutting, but miraculously four of us managed to come out with cake but no one knew when she closed! rotflmmfao.gif
