A wise man once told me that ebay and wine don't mix, and now I know what they meant.  :unsure2:

As the plastic fairing inner on my '99 4TX is starting to crack, I was delighted to see a perfect second hand plastic inner on ebay. I paid 50 squid for it and sat smugly knowing I had got myself a bargain (I actually have no idea what it's worth).

When it arrived I was still smug - no cracks at all, top job. The smugness dribbled away when I realised the clocks on my bike don't match the cutout on the fairing inner. I think it might be for a 98 model.

SO....for sale, fairing inner for a 98 (ish I think, please compare pic with your clocks like I should have done  ) great condition no cracks. I'd like 50 squid for it but if that's too steep do make me an offer.

96 - 98 non fuel gauge dad. I've got two spare as they're no longer available so somebody should snap it up...
p.s. it was only a bargain as they're no longer available. When they were available up to last year they were £64.

Easy mistake dad. They look almost identical. Hold out for your £50, there are some new old stock available on t'inter but they're asking 200 euros for them.

Rear edge rubber trim is discontinued too...I bought some 7mm wide - 3mm
gap replacement online. Fits a treat.
