...like me, Then get one of these beauties! It came today and it was up in under five minutes the very first time. It went back inside the bag just as fast. It looks very well made too and plenty of space and cubby pouches. http://www.ebay.co.u...=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

When it said pop-up I thought you meant one of those spring loaded ones that go up in 3 seconds but take 3 hours to fold back in to their bag

I've also got the Khyam Igloo. Excellent piece of kit. Only drawback is it's a bit long when it's in the bag,but overall it's excellent and good value at about £50

Nice setup Lee. I've got the smaller Golite Hex3. Single pole tipi type tents are the way to go. So roomy, yet easy to put up and very stable if setup right.

BSM wants one now. As a long term customer of Back Packing Light, he throughly approves. I don't think I'll cope well with a low tent after getting my new knee. I'd be happy to slum it it in my 8 year old Aldi tent that's seen me through at least 40 biker rallies and still going strong! I think it cost me about 40 quid.

I use a ground sheet under the nest part just in case and another to put my kit on if the grass is wet. Getting the pitch right is key.
The supplied pegs I ditched and went titanium V pegs which are longer and lighter.
They give you a bag of sweets with every order at Backpacking light and they do super light groundsheets too.
Stove is British Army no 7 with a leehenty made brass key to stop me branding my thumb. BSM will know all about them.
