Had a giggle reading these instructions for a volt gauge with a clock..

1)  Red wire : Lock the anode before   ( Power supply cathode )

      So presume that's +ve !

2) Green wire : Ground wire    (Power supply cathode )

      Erm...  - ve  !

3) Black wire : After locking the anode      ( Switch after locking the anode )

      Err....  Switched live perchance !

Wotya reckon chaps..

After discussing your postal problems yesterday Cliff, I asked my postie if there were problems down your way as our post service is excellent and we're only 10 miles from you. He thought your local sorting office might be closed as it can't be made Covid safe for the staff and if so, all the district's mail gets "redirected" to another sorting office that could be miles away and then gets shipped back to your postie for delivery. It can wait at the other sorting office for days as they work through their own mail first before working on yours.

Cheers Chris but as it happens my local sorting office is open, they cover 72 rounds from it, after seeing you i got home and shortly after the postman knocked, it was the 1st day back for my regular postman, they keep pinching him for other rounds, any how he had 12 packages for me, he spotted them in the morning and it was obvious they had just been getting left on the shelf but already sorted, he's a nice bloke and always looking out for his customers, they have had issues of which he told me about, i still think the postie's filling in for him need a rocket up their arses though, he's to polite to say so but he's always had a great work ethic and his little xmas present is always deserved.....Anyway the back log is sorted now but he say's he's off for 4 days and it will be manic again when he returns.

Good to see you, shame i could'nt give ya a kiss though ;)

Well really and so they should, i mean i understand they have had issues cos of covid but to leave my stuff sitting on a shelf, i wonder how long i would of waited for that lot if my regular postie with a work ethic had'nt started back on his round, makes me bleedin angry, and the poor retailers must be getting a dogs life, i've had 2 sets of brake lines sent out plus a few other items all because some slack arsed postie would'nt pick me deliveries off the shelf, bunch a coonts...

Gonna stop ranting now it's all here, and order special delivery only :)

DHL, DPD, Fedex and Tuffnals have all been spot on.
Royal mail seem to save up my packets for a week and deliver all at once. I have had comments about all the heavy stuff I get. They took the money to deliver it.
Keeps them in a job don't it ?

Yodel are crap, they keep breaking my beer deliveries, as a plus I've had a couple of free cases from adnams for my trouble.

When we got our dog 4 years ago he ate everything coming through the ground level letterbox, and there was no room behind the door to put a cage to catch and protect it.

So I bought an external mail box, like this https://www.smartpar...sgaAjDbEALw_wcB

It's been great, the posty reckons it's the best thing ever, because he can just post larger stuff and get on his way

It's amazing though, that even after making it easy, some parcel firms drop the parcel in the box, and then feed the dogs with the card they still post through the letterbox to say that the parcel is in the mail box, despite a large sign over the letterbox saying 'please use the mail box only' !
