Does the 1 phase rotate the wrong way or the 3 phase, I assume its the 1

Did you go the connecting wires from live and neutral? They don't look right to me. Might be wrong.....

I do know that if a 3 phase motor turns the wrong way you can swap any of the 2 phases around to make it turn the right way,
but thant prob don't help in this case

yes tried shifting the l and n also the capacitor wires round maybe its something with the jumper connections.
maybe i should cut my loses and buy a new motor then my bargain isn't as good as i thought

You'll need to identify if it's an induction motor or if it has brushes. If it's brushed ( a universal motor as used in a power drill for example, which can run on either AC or DC), then the wires on the brushes, OR on the stator can be reversed.. But if it's an induction motor you will need to identify the field windings and reverse the connections to one of the fields.
