As above but........

I've a MRA adjustable touring flip screen thingy on my 900 and I find it lots quieter.

Anyone got one on the Yam long touring screen? I'm looking for quieter above all else inc. at around 85-90mph.. I'm loath to drill expensive Yam screen and ruin it for no gain.

on my old niner best result I had was the yamaha touring screen +145mm (believe Yamaha do a +80mm also) and the adjustable piece from my MRA x- creen,

the touring screen on its own was no good for me, too much noise wind straight on me bonce,

Ive just got the standard screen on this one and its livable,

and Ive tried lots inc madstrad

Cheers Ramo your reply is very helpful :good: Nice to know you found that combo the quietest.

I'm going to do a 600 mile (2x 300 runs), trip next week. I'll try the STD screen with the X-creen and see how it goes. I'll take your info and drill the Yam + 145 (if I need to), on my return.

Thanks again.

I got a powerbronze touring screen and added an mra top adjustable bit to it. As per ramo, it's liveable, not perfect.

I've got a Powerbronze Double Bubble with a Darkojak adjustable deflector on top. Does the job for me at any speed, while keeping insects off the visor.
