i dont know about you , but i am fed -up of the bmw "lot" taking over this web site ....i am sure they dont go on and on, on the bmw club web site about TDM,s and keep plugging there photo,s every chance they get [ or they would soon be in trouble ] ....i have other makes of bikes and if i want to talk about them i would go to there own web site. i wouldnt dream of bragging off how great they are on another biker,s web site ...its like they have to go out and spread " the word " to get as many as possible into " the fold " or is it that there pockets are empty due to rip- off service charges and cannot afford to join the bmw club ...
Anyone Else Sick To The Teeth Of Bmw,s On This Site ?

Just checked out your previous content Doboy, you've actually started 4 topics about BMW's, 2 about chinese bikes, plus one about Moto Guzzi !
Only thing that annoys me about BMW topics is when peeps post 'em up in the 'All About TDM' section.

No, not at all. The more info and feedback on various bikes the better.

Dont mind the odd picture of another bike at all so long as they dont bang on about them..but the thing is the owners of and not just BMW bikes have mostly been on here for quite a long time and still participate in ride outs and are good friends of other members from Carpe.. so for the majority of us i guess we dont mind..anyway once the initial excitement of a new bike has worn off it's not like their posting everday is it..
It's obvious you have a great big bug up your arse over BMW doboy, but live and let live eh..
So long as the pages are not plastered with tons of pics and content of these other bikes i really dont see the problem.. no offence just saying

I don't mind BMW postings in here. I'd rather have the GSers posting here than parking in the curves like yesterday

Doboy, I think you should stop sitting on the fence on this issue and tell us what you REALLY think! As it happens, I agree with you (a bit) on this one.

Have to start thinking about your next bike at some time, TDM production stopped in 2010. Its good to know about other models, you can judge for yourself when the time comes. Who knows there might be a Chinese replica of the TDM in the making in the future but I doubt it.

I have a number of Goldwings but I don't go on about it, we all have likes and dislikes but we all have in common the fact we prefer 2 wheeled transport whether it is a bike, scooter or moped or a tractor in disguise, if we all liked the same thing there would only be one bike/manufacturer so suffer the idiotic choices quietly as long as I get a grin whilst riding it matters not what model I am sat on.
For a challenging summer try the

We are all on bikes ain't we ?
So long as it's not posted in the all about TDM section i don't see a problem.
Some problems are common to a lot of bikes like alternator stator failure, (I'm looking at you honda viffer !)
Anyway it's nice to ogle different bikes from time to time.

For fooks sake Doboy! You had bad experiences with BMWs. I hope I don't but if I do so what? I don't get led by others experiences. I prefer to find out for myself. A very good friend of mine has had a GS for 6 years and it has NEVER been an issue. I wanted to see what all the hype was about so I have. I recently led an RTT on an FJR. Does that make it ok cos it was a Yamaha. I may well go back to a Yamaha but for now I want to try something different.
My god I thought BMW riders were supposed to be the prima donnas of the bike world. The UKGSER site actually has 13 sections devoted to other models. From Honda to Yamaha, outfits and classics. So at least they will allow other bikes on there!
I'm going for a lie down!
