Looks good. How many microns of material goes onto the pistons?

I didn't ask but they say;
Where lubricant coatings have been applied to tight fitting parts such as piston skirts, cam followers, valve stems etc. it is up to the customer to ensure the correct running tolerance. If necessary this can be achieved by buffing down the coating surface with green Scotch-Bright to give the required clearance.

Due to the porous nature of DFL-1, CCL and TLML coatings, pease install as soon as possible or store the coated parts in a clean wet oil prior to installation. Not doing so can result in corrosion of the parts.

I had to slightly buff my skirts (oh missus) to get the correct clearance. they were 1/2 thou under spec so got brought back to spec. and a lot cheaper than new pistons and a rebore

The 900 already comes with an oil level sensor  inside the oil tank

Yes, It came out wrong. I meant "get a sensor for a 9er to put in my Mk1 oil tank". Problem would be, at what level would you drill holes? And how to properly test it w/o risk?

Nice job drew, i found it really quite easy to mount  the rear upper bolt and i could pivot the engine to line up other mounts.

i had to do it my way as the fit into the top mount was very very tight and you had to line up the engine very precisely.

photos of engine in, just painted the rad yesterday and fitted stainless bolts to replace the corroded originals
