Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.

Thank you stalwarts - my observation skills are obviously diminishing and I missed this wonderful thread........................

 

It started off with a birthday card from the Postcode Lottery - at least some bastard remembered! Then a visitation to the Post Office to cash in my pension Giro, only to find out they've stopped doing it that way - bugger!

I then went to B&Q for my 5% grumpy old man discount, only to find out they've stopped doing that - bugger!
A trip to the canal followed, fed the ducks some bread only for 2 of them to turn over and sink due to excess carbohydrate poisoning - bugger!
The day ended up with a surprise goody bag of essentials from the ever resourceful , fizz and birthday cake then an excellent meal. Looking forward to next birthday...............
