As it was predicted to be a nice day today, I met up with TYREDNGRUMPEE for a blast to brush off some of the cobwebs.

We met at McDonald's Cirencester.

We headed back towards Cheltenham on the A435 to Seven Springs, then picked up the A436 until the Junction with the A40.

We then turned left towards Cheltenham again for approx 2 miles. At Andoversford we turned right onto the A436 towards Bourton on the Water & at the fork joined the A429 to Stow on the Wold.

Turning Right on the A436 towards Cornwell. We then turned Right onto the A44 & headed towards Chipping Norton.

Here we had a stop for coffee & cake (well some of us had cake).

Back on the road we headed out towards Oxford, at the roundabout we headed onto the A44 for Woodstock.

We then turned onto the A4059 to Witney. From there we picked up the A415 towards Abingdon, but when we met the A420 we turned towards Swindon.

At the roundabout on the outskirts of Faringdon we turned right, through Faringdon & towards Lechlade.

We had another stop at the Trout Inn, just outside Lechlade for an orange juice 'n' lemonade.

Back on the bikes & headed for Cirencester on the A417.

When we arrived at Cirencester we split up & headed to our homes.

Arriving home I checked the mileage & it was just shy of 150 miles including getting to the meeting point & after splitting up.

The route

The bikes in the Trout Inn car park.

Thoroughly enjoyed it, & so glad I decided not to sell the TDM.

Somehow don't think it would have been as comfortable.

T'was just a leisurely bimble, mainly stuck to all speed limits. Although the urge was always there to push on a bit. :punishment:

There it is. A beautiful ride frustrated coz you can't unleash the beast.

A friend & mentor gave us a bollocking for not riding enough last week. Humbled, we have put a few k's on the bikes since. Use it or lose it. Dunno exactly what it is but the TDM just travels so well. The end of every ride is a little sad.

TDM 850 Loud and unusual. CRM 250r Woo hoo! DT 230 Lanza Fiddled with.... Bloody hell, is that legal? GG Randonee AKA "I didn't think that was possible".
