Chris, beware, that fella runs on duracells.

I know mate, he's turned in for the night now, so you Irish boys must have worn him out a bit though!  :rotflmmfao:

Definitely on for this. Will see you all at Tickled Trout at 9.30.

Dave

Excellent Dave, see you there.

Will try to get up in time to make it for 09:30.

Good news Favs, I'll PM you my mobile so you can let me know if you're running late.

Nice to put some faces to the names including the misleading 'fatchap' who isn't. Plus a conversation in English with Pete7 - bonus.

Thanks for the ride out on well selected roads.

Single-handedly reviving the Wave.

Yep, Excellent day out on fantastic roads, good weather too.

It was nice that Favs and Pete7 could converse in their mother tongue and useful for the rest of us to be there to translate for Kym.

Top work Chris

Cheers

Yes great to meet up again with some old faces (very old in Pete's case) and a new face - couldn't understand what of much Favs said though  :rotflmmfao: A few photos below.

Pete's 'Burglar Glasses" were much admired.

Kym had a great day's riding in the best roads Lancashire and Yorkshire can offer and was an excellent house guest at chez Matlock, supplying cold Guinness fresh from Ireland for post ride consumption (among his many other gifts). I also gave him a practical demonstration of how to 'filter aggressively' when we hit traffic on the way home   He left this morning en route for Mick's and then Europe, via the Cat & Fiddle. Take care Kym and enjoy the remainder of your epic tour.

Ah yes, there was a bit of traffic on the approach to the Plough. Thought I'd made "good progress" but was surprised to see you two on my right shoulder as I peeled off!

Traffic was just like dodging kangaroos back home 😲 only your traffic is more predictable. 😎

Made good time to Mick's, thanks to Chris's directions.

Thanks for the suggestion Pete, pity the pub was closed.

So may trucks using the road it made travelling slow.

Speed cameras every mile didn't help, but worth the ride.

Cheers
