I'm going to write a short piece about my first impressions soon. Firstly though a word about the MPG. Many sites and reviews talking about 46mpg and 160 mile tank range! My fuel gauge has just gone to one bar - not flashing yet so not quite hit reserve I presume? The trip has just rolled across 200 miles. This means I'm getting nearly 60 mpg for my A road commute (40 miles a day). Impressive.

I get an average of 62 MPG on my commute to work.

Yes, the fuel gauge will start flashing when starting to use the last 3 liters of fuel. At the same time, the trip meter will begin to count up from 0 miles/km, so that you can see how far you have gone on the reserve fuel. Pretty neat  :)

I have a 2009 900 and usually get around 210 miles on a tank doing a 15 mile commute. Had as much as 240 while touring.

That figure sounds about right for a 900 Norman.
