My nephew wrote music for one of the Honda TV adverts; that's enough Honda to be going on with around here.☺ It is a tenor, and I saved plenty by buying 2nd. hand.

My bad - I think I was thinking of Bass then...with the full loop in the neck.
Used to play Alto year ago...never kept it up, which I beat myself up about...not sure I remember enough to pick one up now...

My kids say the same thing about not playing for years. I just say give it a go, if you feel like doing so. I have got myself into a jazz band (U3A which accepts late starters) after 15 months of learning. It's fun, and I am all for that!

I've got a 1975/76 Yamaha FG180-1 acoustic . Quite rare apparently. Lovely build and great sound.
I had to look that up. Watched a Youtube video. He was rather in awe of the instrument - "the dash 1 version". It sounds lovely. I have a Ventura 12 string that has a similar design (American design, Japan made).

Looks nice ! Had a Yamaha guitar once, quite good one :-) Yamaha guitars and basses have a reputation for being good alhough I have never met someone who loved one :-)

The Yamaha Pacifica is a really highly rated guitar for the money. For someone wanting a 'budget' guitar you can't go wrong with one.
They don't compete with the likes of Gibson or Fender for high end stuff though.
