spotted a blue TDM900 & a Green mkI at the Thistle rally this week end, anyone here???

It was in Symington near Biggar at the Tinto Hotel. It was very mild this week end, I was comfortable with just my 4 season bag no need for the fleece liner.

didya shoite yer brains oot at that weekend bash too Tam ??? 
spyball alarm/immob, bluespot brake calipers and Stainless hoses, Fournales air adjustable shock with Remote Resevoir, forks raised 10mm thru yokes, racetech linear fork springs in 15 wt oil, Kappa wingrack/luggage, heated grips, Kedo handguards, dual heat controller to power heated jacket liner and or pants!!, Stebel 136DB horn, K&N air filter, colour matched Baglux tank cover (magnetic tank bag modified to fit cover), osram +50% headloight bulbs, headlight protector,"NitramSpecial" parking loight, tail light indicators all running on LED's & incorporate "Lite Buddies", MK7 Scottoiler fitted, taller screen, 2-2 stainless steel CCC's, Devil stainless down pipes. MKI Renntec engine crash bars & sump guard.
engine changed july 2007 on a dyno run it made 79.1BHP / Torque 59.9Had a brief flirtation with a 1999 MKIIa but it blew an exaust valve on the M5 so was sold on to be repaired.
I loike tay and hang sangwiches !

I was a very briefly there Silver 900 
I led the girlfriend and her mate down on their 125's (Blue CG and Black SR) on the Saturday, and went down again and led them back on the Sunday.
I just stayed long enough to gloat at the fact I was going home to a warm flat and Duvet.
Rona and Susan said it was cold but they had a good time

Was there last year but this years track bike, parts and track days have taken my money this early in the year. Seen a 900 there last year for the first time and thought, oh, TDM's a nice bike, then I went and bought one. Our lads from the Quay Vipers showed in numbers, so much so that we lifted biggest club and cleaned up in the games too. Did you meet any of them? Can you see yourself in any of these pics?

That's cool. Well, as I said, my rally funds are really tight this year what with getting more serious into track days and possibly racing next year and I'm off to Spain/France on the TDM mid May. You'll find that we do a lot of rallying over there and in England regardless of the water that separates us

I know, I had to laugh though when I was talking to one of your guys and he was telling me they would have to be up at 5.00am to get to the ferry on Sunday.
Puts me to shame when I think that a rally is too far away, yet we have people from Ireland & 1 regular that rides up from Cornwell to our rally.

5am starts are normal as the ferry leaves at 7am then it onto either the A75 or A77, 2 great roads fot doing 71mph on
We try and do as many rallies as we can as it shows when it come around to our own. The last 2 years ours has been fantastic with people from all over coming to it. It's been a next to packed venue with a capped number of 2000 people set upon us by the council, if you can why not try and get over this year, full inof is on our website www.quayvipersmcc.com
