Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.

thas a good buy. Ohlins shock etc.
spyball alarm/immob, bluespot brake calipers and Stainless hoses, Fournales air adjustable shock with Remote Resevoir, forks raised 10mm thru yokes, racetech linear fork springs in 15 wt oil, Kappa wingrack/luggage, heated grips, Kedo handguards, dual heat controller to power heated jacket liner and or pants!!, Stebel 136DB horn, K&N air filter, colour matched Baglux tank cover (magnetic tank bag modified to fit cover), osram +50% headloight bulbs, headlight protector,"NitramSpecial" parking loight, tail light indicators all running on LED's & incorporate "Lite Buddies", MK7 Scottoiler fitted, taller screen, 2-2 stainless steel CCC's, Devil stainless down pipes. MKI Renntec engine crash bars & sump guard.
engine changed july 2007 on a dyno run it made 79.1BHP / Torque 59.9Had a brief flirtation with a 1999 MKIIa but it blew an exaust valve on the M5 so was sold on to be repaired.

Swapped headlights and instrument with dagosh88, and thanks for the cake! Just had the last ones! :-)
Looked for fuel tap to prepare for reserve condition but found none. Somewhat later I found the fuel gage, it even counts km from reserve ! Wow !
Better on motorways thank the mk1, but I can't wait to test it in the twisties....

Did the last tankfull at 4.2l/100kr at avg cruise speed of 120km/h - not bad.
Butt not too bad,getting better every hour. Another 1500kms to go..... did some 600 yesterday.
Next time I'll take a week and do some B-roads!
I'm in Devonia if ewe popping past bjorgey. :-)

Covered 1030kms + a ferry today, phew.....
Need better headlight! The last hour in the dark was scary.... dagosh, I belive you adjusted them low,didn'the you? Should have thought of that.....
4 hours from home, a cold body heats from warm beer right now, journey ending tomorrow!

I've told you that with my wife and all the luggage on the beam was just right, so I never bothered to adjust anything.
I also mounted the projector lights, so I didn't need anything more.
Warm beer...That makes your soul go cold...

BTW, the journey has come to an end, 2000kms of tarmac is history and I was welcomed back with ice cold beer and freezed glasses 😎
Tyre squared noticeably, 5 tankfulls of gas vapourized, the 9er is home !
