Ixil 2 into 1 TDM 900 exhaust, seem to be quite rare.

 

I bought it new it is still in good condition

 

only selling due to bike for sale

 

£125 posted to UK address, does not include Highlands etc)

 

or £110 collected

Bigred mk1 R1 Calipers- Braided lines- Givi wing rack-Crash bungs- Hi vis bullets-PR2's- and a hoot to ride.

Quad 900 Silver Laser duo tech pipes-Scott oiler-Engine crash bars- Radiator mounted see me ring LED's-Datatool system 3 alarm -Centre stand- Extender fender-Renthal bars-Handle bar risers-Mirror extenders-BMW GS Handgaurds-Acumen uprated horn & Nautilus-Stainless steel Radiator guard-Givi wing rack-OEM screen-Yammy touring screen-MRA Vario-MRA Double bubble cut down for fast as fk riding-Tiger screen-Tank protector-Stomp grip panels-Optimate lead   Gone to Heaven  :sorry:

Just to let peeps know these zoorsts sound the dogs with or without the baffles in and boosts the performance, + knocks lots of weight off the bike as well :good:

Actually they quite enjoyed the experience  :huh:  but baffles are back in, me ears could'nt take it.....

Which exhausts?

 

To be sure, are you describing dablik's or the OP's 2into1 IXIL?

 

I can't see any baffle retainer in the IXIL pix - does it work using the usual side bolt?

Dablik has one of these fitted

 

there is a removeable baffle,

 

you just undo 1 x allen bolt underneath the rear of the silencer to remove it, 

 

 

( would take a pic but its all boxed and taped up now)

3 and a half years later.
I have found the gasket between the Y link pipe and the can has developed a small leak. It's a simple ring, 60mm ID.
Can I easily find a replacement? Can I hell! I've tried the UK distributor, aftermarket etc. Zilch. Even the factory in Spain referred me back to the distributor.
So, I went round to my local exhaust fitter, an independent, and after a rummage he came up with one.
Dunno the supplier but the item code is HAG10X. See the pic. There's also a code CEG49.
I had considered a three hole gasket between the faces, and that would have been the backup solution.
The new item is a ba' hair too big in OD to fit in the recess in the can end, but a wee bit of careful persuasion will see it in.

What a coincidence - I had an Acclaim and a fine wee car it was too - went very well, proved very reliable and satisfyingly quick.
