Tidying up the loft this time and have found a load more Mk1 bits if anyone's after anything.

  • Nosecone looks to have had a repair at the bottom left of the screen, back left mounting lug is broken, and it's been painted matt black
  • 2 side panels in reasonable condition, looks like one has had a repair around one of the bolt holes, and there's a few scratches
  • Rear faring with light housing
  • Under-tray/number-plate hanger thingie
  • Clutch cable
  • Rear brake master cylinder
  • Gear lever
  • Starter relay and cable
  • Swing arm pivot
  • Rear wheel adjusters, both blocks but only 1 plate
  • Speedo cable
  • Both yokes
  • Stop switch
  • Reg/Rec (looks like an aftermarket not an original to me but not 100% sure)
  • Battery box
  • Thermostat and housing
  • Some random vacuum and drain pipes
  • Coolant tank
  • Crank case breather hose (I think, the one by the thermostat housing in the pic)
  • 1 ally bracket, think it's the rear caliper mount

I hope you haven't damaged your Mk1   :punishment:

No idea what faring bits are worth so assuming I can post it for under a tenner shall we go with the same payment method as last time? It might be a couple of weeks before I can post it out though.

If you're thinking of painting bits to match your bike I just found the paint code for it too

Yeah, no, errr yeah.   I haven't damaged the bike, it was already done for me. lol  I don't like the white bits on my plastics and the rear panel has a broken/missing tang.

Yep, very happy to donate to a worthy cause, prolly be Help for Heroes this time. Also happy to cover the postage costs. No rush to get them mate. :good:

I've got the main nose cone with screen attached.  Don't believe I've got the inner panel that sits around the instruments though.

I've also got set of headlights and the front cage it all attaches too as well (see earlier for sale post  http://www.carpe-tdm...showtopic=36107, I think the other cage in that post must be the one that holds the radiator)

Probably a fortune to post though, you know anyone who might be interested in transporting from Aldershot?

I'll be in Farnborough in a couple of weeks and can call around for them Chris. I can transport to NE England for Coxylad. If SR hasn't got his bits yet, I can collect and deliver those on my way past when I return to Co. Durham.

That could well be doable if Coxy wants them.   :good:

Looking at your build thread I assume you're not in a massive hurry as it looks like there's still a fair bit to do?

I'm not home for the next couple for weeks to dig them out, I'm guessing that'll have missed Favs transport opportunity.

Don't suppose you're likely to be down south at any point?  If not I'll measure it up and see what postage costs might be like,

Won't be down until after next week (cherry-picker transplanting) - as in a week Friday at the earliest. Transport still possible.

I've definitely got the nose cone and screen part of the faring, along with a set of lights and I'm pretty sure I've got the metal bracket bit that it all mounts to.  I'm not home until 13/14th to dig it out though so hopefully you're not in a rush?
