I know another LED thread, but I have tried the search & did not find what I was looking for.
What I am looking for is someone had found a nice wee ciruit board of LEDs that when trimmed down fitted in the side/ pilot light.
I need to replace the one I had made following JBX's instructions but is now not working after being presure washed by the dealer at it service.

So can anyone enlighten me to this LED panel.

Tam, I used an Led lamp for the side / pilot light, it look like a standard bulb whith a plastic base, however it have a blue tinge to it, it failed MOT for this ohmy.gif .

I will post a photo soon, cannot remember where I got it from, some where on the web.

It's like playing the lottery. My TDM passed without any issues despite having an HID conversion headlight (which I told them about), while at the same MOT station my bog standard, official UK import Buell's tail-light failed for not having a reflector in the lens blink.gif (I fitted a small push-bike reflector on the rear mudguard, which vibrated loose when riding home from the MOT re-test laugh.gif )

I think most LEDs (except maybe the latest P7's) are not too bright to cause issues during the MOT?

So does the 18 led panel fit ok(noticed aircooled68 said his needed trimming) or am I better going with a 12 led panel?

I bought 2 from ebay for around £11.00 and sold one to a fellow carper. The bottom row has failed already but the top is still running.

I have one made by a member called Nitram. Quite some years ago now and only last week a couple of LEDs failed. It's done bloody well though. Shame he's not still around, given the interest at the mo. He did a top job...... good.gif

I'm going to order some of these from Radio Spares,

http://uk.rs-online....=0336003#header

Should be a direct replacement T1, fit in the dash too!

Edit,
I got some T1 and T3 LED 'bulbs' and yes they work and fit no probs but they're not as bright as the panels of LEDs (obviously). The thing is the light is not very difuse, so it looks like a bright spot in the lamp rather than lighting up the whole thing.

I know you had had some issues with them, but I love the design of the indicators on yours, part sidelight, part indicator.

After seeing Thrakiotis's pic I have bought one too.
I tried one of those blue bulbs and it was a complete waste of time. I noticed that the side/aux light on the MKII doesn't have any internal reflector (well mine doesn't anyway!) so the light it gives off is piss poor.

Anyone aware of an LED kit available for the rear. Is there such a thing?
