I notice that Henry is back on the television this Wednesday night at 9 pm on More 4. The programme is called Find It Fix It Ride It and is about digging out old bikes from sheds and doing what the title suggests. I think the first programme is about restoration of an Uncle Bunt chopper but in the very near future, our Henry will be riding my old drag bike at Elvington in an attempt to break the land speed record for its class. Originally, I was invited along to the record attempt with HC promising me a blast on the old bike but 4 days before the event the insurance company they use insisted that only the production crew plus HC and Sam Lovegrove would be allowed to attend. That was a disappointment but also a relief as the record attempt was in February and it was bloody cold! I won't tell you if he managed the record, keep you in suspense.....          I still hope to have a ride on it one day, fingers crossed.

Odd that the ins co wouldn't entertain insuring the one person with the most experience in riding the bike.

I'll be sitting down in front of the telly, ready to watch the proggy with my bowl of Gazpacho, trying to control my excitement as I won't wanna spill it. :D

But c'mon guys he may have 110% enthusiasm but he is 210% boring

He is what i call a motorcyclist not a biker.

I heard she's tipped for the next 007.  Even more disappointing was Sam's affection for a tarted up chopper.  Personally, I didn't like the bike at all, or should I say 'didn't get it'  Those handlebars looked awful and there was only the frame that was a Bunt, rest of it was typical HC mongrel.

As soon as I hear his pathetic whinny voice I switch over. It's good to see a prog about bike but they could at least get someone with a bit of charisma.

He came past on treader this morning. I could prolly collate the carpe comments and give him some feedback....by taping them to the car boot lid and driving slowly infront of him.
