If so, what model(s) and why?

I'm curious as for the first 10 few years of my riding I only had one bike. During summers off from studies I would get signed up as a courier in London save money for the bike expenses of the year to come as well as pay off the overdraft of the year gone by.

One year, I either couldn't find a company bike or could finally afford the insane insurance rates (can't recall which) and I got myself a fun XBR500 to deliver those oh so important documents from this office to that. From that point on, I pretty much had at least two bikes at any given time.

Over here, (in Estonia), I took things down a slightly different route by having only one bike, but buying a Ural sidecar combination as, at the time, I knew I'd be climbing the walls if I couldn't get on a saddle for the whole 6 months of the year when ice and snow can cover the land.

So now I have that Ural (although its not been turned over for about 5 years), the TDM because I wanted something newer and more powerful, and my Transalp just because it is too good a bike to sell!!

I've had an xt600e for years that's barely ever used, just can't be arsed to sell it, I should sell really for a bit more space but happy to keep unless someone desperate offers silly money for it.

Current toys: '99 XT600E, 2000 4TX, '82 Princess 30DS (where the username comes from), No longer a '03 Fazer thou.

Mine are a Yamaha MT-07 and a Honda Rebel. Both different enough from each other to give me variety.

If a modest lottery win were to come my way and I could stomach giving the same dealership yet more of my money after the CCT debacle, then I will say they have a very nice Versys 1000 in there and a Guzzi Bellagio. Typically customs are not my thing, but the Bellagio is understated, yet stylish enough to catch my eye and I think that the 70-odd BHP probably come with enough torque to make for a very relaxing ride.

Would make a nice tourer with a unassuming screen fitted.

The Versys appeals because of the sheer power in a nimble set-up that doesn't require that I sit in a position that puts my backside further off the ground than my chin....

I have 1 working bike and another that hasn't moved in 10 years because I'm the world's greatest procrastinator, well I would be if I could get round to it

I challenge you for the title: my girlfriend says my credentials in this respect are pretty impressive!

Out of curiosity what is the unused bike? And will it ever run again?

600 Tenere for nostalgic reasons, goes off road very well. TDM 900 for long distance and a blast. 700 Tenere for sheer fun and grin factor.

i did recently get up to 4 bikes due to  my laziness and a Triumph dealer making me an offer I couldn't refuse - but I've settled now on the TDM and a Tiger Sport. I tend to use the Tiger Sport for longer distance/holidays and the TDM was for commuting - although obviously that's changed recently and will do permanently as I''m retiring come the beginning of August. I'm thinking of a change but not sure what to.....if I had the room I'd keep the TDM especially as I don't believe it will be a sellers market for a while.

Just sold my 1997 Ducati 900SS, watched it go up the road yesterday and confess to a lump in my throat and slight misting of the eye, those old V-twins don't half pump out the pollutants!

That leaves my Tracer 700, a Suzuki T350 from 1972, a Honda CB500/4 from 73 and a pretty little Honda NC24 VFR400R from 88. More than enough and all have different characteristics.

'73 Honda CB500 Four, Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Triumph Tiger Sport 660.

The shed is still as per my sig line. The venerable 98 TDM, my G/F's 96 DT 230 Lanza, a 93 CRM 250R and my wee Gas gas trials bike for gym work.

I had to decline a TDR 250 project bike awhile back, the bike was cheap as chips but extending the shed not so much.

The shed is also the reason I don't have a Beta 200rr and a T7.

In hindsight I could have achieved a lot more during lockdown if Jacinda had given me more of a heads up. All the toilet paper I have is not much use for building.

TDM 850 Loud and unusual. CRM 250r Woo hoo! DT 230 Lanza Fiddled with.... Bloody hell, is that legal? GG Randonee AKA "I didn't think that was possible".
