I couldn't get to the Ace Cafe for 3pm so decided to meet up at Tralfalger square. The organiser needs to invest in a decent megaphone I could have shouted louder.
Opposite Traffalgar Square I saw a Silver 03 It had oval Carbon Cans with double exits, it looked nice..
On the ride to City Hall I was right in front of an old Honda 400 four with a straight through exhaust, it was the loudest bike there, luckily I had my ear plugs in.
Along side city hall I came aross three TDMs parked next to eaxh other . The riders said they were are members of Carpe but don't go on very regularly any more. "It is not like it was five years ago!".
I wasn't around 5 years ago, you must have been sponsored by "Carling"!!
I saw three more silver 900's, a blue 900 two yellow 850's and two red 850s, one of them, parked right outside City Hall, I think was TonyDevil's bike it was sporting a Carpe TDM sticker.
On the way back I rode along side a yellow 02 900. It was notable for the very loud cans and the neat brake lights built into the top box. I'd like some of those please, the lights that it is.
Over all I think we TDMers we well represented. Hopefully the demo will achieve the right result. I'll gladly go again, it was a laugh.

You did well.. I only saw.. mm... 1 900 (the one you mentioned with the CC pipes), and 2 or 3 mkII 850s. I was on the DRZ, letting the side down.

I shot some video on my camera.. if it's come out any good I'll post a link..

The red one with the Carpe sticker was probly mine, we was parked opposite the city hall entrance, tony devil rides a black Mk1, which was behind mine and GrahamI's blue 9er was a couple along.
We were raiding the CMC cake shop outside Starbucks for most of the time we were there. did you not smell the cake?
Shame to have missed you Wizard.

The video turned out ok.. 370Mb is perhaps a bit too large to post here. I did grab this still of a snazzily dressed TDM rider tho:

I was staying at the City Inn, Westminster and heard all the bikes ride through. First time Ive visited London city centre and have to say it was great. 5 days on the lash broken up by a couple of 16 hour shifts. Liecester square was full of stunning women just lazing around getting drunk. I got shouted at by a women protester on the island by Westminster gates for smiling. She was using a megaphone and I thought she shouted "open your flies" which I found both amusing and a little scary as she was a right moose. But my mate told me she was shouting "open your eyes" refering to all the torture and murder of children our troops are doing in Iraq? I must of missed a news flash as Ive not seen any and clearly was under the missunderstanding our troops were doing a great job.
