I was browsing the Motad site, and would you Adam and Eve it, they've only used a pic of my bike! And without asking, the bloody cheek of it!

I've sent them an eel mail, asking what they're gonna do about it!

With any luck! I know what they did - just did a Google images search which turned up the pic off my website, all shiny and clearly wearing a Motad. Should've embedded copyright info.

My bike turned up on a crazy Frenchmans website once....he never asked me permission neither. Trouble was if I complained he might a started sending 900 bits...so I just kept schtum about it.

There must be a freebie in it for you somewhere. ....exhaust clamp or summat. Maybe have some fun and ask them if its a staff bike....let them dig the hole.

reading the airbrush website a last year there was a seller on ebay who put up paintings claiming he done the work, they were painting done by other people mostly the work was from one guys from the forum I frequent.

Information was put on the sellers page about the work and who painted various items. the seller was threatened with legal action if the images were not removed form the sellers own website and ebay. The sellers own website was closed down and the ebay ad was terminated.

Well, I asked nice & polite-like, but Mr Marketing Manager Ian Howell didn't want to do polite customer service. They've taken it down. So if you were expecting Motad to be all nice & fluffy, forget it. That's my goodwill gone. rolleyes.gif

Thats good to know. Things like this could easily be resolved with both parties benefitting........good to know the marketing manager ain't capable of seeing that.

I was asked by a local exhaust manufacturer if he could borrow my bike to make a pattern from - I left it with him for a week and at the end he said I could keep the system. Kept it on for a year then Fleabayed it for 100 when I sold the bike. Thats an arrangement that suits both sides.
