They are not engine bars, they look more like bull bars!
Nice to see some more Mk2's.

Have you ever lent someone 20 quid and never seen it again? It was probably worth it.

We saw for example: castel Neuschwanstein and the tropical insel Mainai in Bondensee in Germany; passo di Stelvio, passo di Gavia, passo Crocedomini, passo Montirolo, Lago di Garda, city Verona, museum of Ferrari in Maranello, the tower in Pisa = Italy; Monako, Nice, Cannes, St. Tropez, canyon du Verdon and route D902 during french Alps (Route des Grandes Alpes) in France; city Sv. Moritz, passo Grimselpass and Furkaspass, city Interlaken, Luzern, Rhine falls in Schaffhausen = Switzerland
Total: 4733 km, 16 days.
The weather was good, only in Switzerland was cloudy and some rain showers.

Have a nice evening

Hi TonyDevil,

we hope you are fine.
We are fine and we are looking forward to spring. Our motorbike sleeps in the garage. :-)

Do you plan some TDM-meetings in Europe this year?
We want to visit TDMF-Megatreff in Oberwiesenthal in Germany (07.-10.06.2012). It is closed to Czech Republic. It can be nice.

Do you have some plan for summer holiday?
We have not so direct plan, but maybe we will come back to Italy - Dolomities. Dolomities are very nice and we want to see for us new famous places in this region.

And what about the weather in your region? Do you have the frosts as the whole Europe? Do you have snow?
In the Czech Republic we have now from -15 till -20 degrees of Celsius. The weather forecast for the next week is a little bit better - temperature around -10 degrees (it is quite normal for this period). But for the next week we are awaiting the snowfall.

Best regards
Tereza + Roman

Hi guys.

I think Tony's been using his a bit more for getting to work but my bike's not been out of the garage for a while. We've only had temperatures down to about -6 or -7 over night and usually above freezing during the day, and a couple of days where it snowed (we both live in the South, been a bit worse up North), but I'm turning in to fair weather rider.

I really enjoyed the Alps last year so want to do another European tour this year, but not sure where or when. There might be one or two Brits heading over to the German meet, we've got a thread on it here http://www.carpe-tdm...showtopic=22408

Our meet is going to be in Northern Ireland this year, 18-22 July if you fancy traveling a bit further.
