I picked one up in March this year (it is still just about).

On it's way home.

The strip started within minutes.

Unfortunately the old running out of cash and time struck me again blush.gif

Erm........I don't want to talk about it unsure.gif

Hit a major snag with one of the manifold studs.

The thread in the head has partially stripped and just turns meaning it won't come out with out some kind of damage.
The exhaust and frame won't allow me to get in with any of my power tools. I have a plan that includes a 12" bar a drill and a pals welder, a hammer will play quite a major part too ohmy.gif

The bugger has to be helicoiled so I just want to minimize damage and wait till it warms up a bit.

I've bought a few bits, stripped many for paint or blast.
I'm about to purchase a fibre glass fairing too, my kids didn't fare as well as they expected this Christmas unsure.gif

I'll keep you updated if your interested.

Defo. good.gif

Hopefully yer hammer and welder idea works out ok. Worse than a snapped off stud in some ways!

One came past us on tour. The wee man could not resist and we caught em up and passed but the TDR kept up well. Couldn't believe it when Eccles said t'were a 250!!

Apparently you can get over 30bhp out of the 125 so I dread to think what they can wring out of the 250. Same engine as the TZR isn't it?

Yes it is, although it's about 5bhp down on a TZR apparently. Tuned for more low-mid range oomph
