Is it goin back to your racing livery?
It ran in a plain white livery back then. The bike was owned by a true racing enthusiast, Ron Todd, who put a few riders on his bikes over the years and wanted no more than see his bikes out there doing well both on circuits and the Isle of Man. He changed his livery to blue and white in the 90s on both the Yam and a Matchless G50. Ron died last year and his family honoured an agreement Ron and I had made that I could have first refusal on the Yamaha if he ever sold it so I'm keeping the Ron Todd livery in his memory.
Here's one of the few pics in colour , most of them are in sepia...........1989 Bob McIntyre Memorial meeting which we won with 4 wins out of 6 over the weekend.
Not quite the "classic" knee in style but I was still learning
