Hi All

I am back in the club as of tommorow.

I have gone to the dark side and pick up a 2003 900 tommorow.

You can all look forward to many searching questions on the best way to improve it over the coming months.

Cheers

Doggy

We’ll have to have a local meet up at some point. Maybe a run down to Route 11 for a cuppa?

Picked it up, great ride back even though it was raining. Love the way it punches out of corners. Let the tidying up begin!

On the TDM I use a relay for peace of mind which needs a bit of wiring and finding the right cables, etc. If you are OK with that all is well. But for the not so accomplished there are easier, if pricier options. Just to make it neat and simple I installed an unfortunately named Healtech 'Thunderbox' on one of my other bikes. All that needs doing is connecting to the battery. Any device connects to some clip connectors on the box. It will then power, fuse and switch off your device for you. Works a treat. There are others like it out there. And its not bigger than a relay.

"Healtech 'Thunderbox'"

Nice simple solution for everyone ! More expensive than using discrete components but saves a lot of messing around
