Hi All

On taking the seat off, i found this connector sitting alone and unloved.

What is it for and do i need to connect it to something?

I suggest you stick meter probes inside and see what power you get if any and if it is switched with the ignition. That end looks like it goes inside summat so more likely to be attached to an item that uses the power than a supply..

What colours are the wires? I see grey and grey/black, but they are grubby too. A run thru' the wiring diagram I have for the 900 finds only two wires with any grey and neither paired with a second grey, so I suggest you have an aftermarket item, and need to trace its run.

Given it's loose I suggest a battery charger pigtail, but it is not of the types I've seen on an Optimate; or hotgrips.

Oh, and you could update your avatar model info. to show you now have a 900.

It's for the Flux Capacitor. Be careful if you connect it, you never know where you end up...  ;)
