I quite like the idea of handguards, winter is coming.

Heard that some from bmw fit, not cheap, unlike me 😁

Had some from my 500 Honda, they kind of fit but are scruffy and blue.

Did some searching and they are from Wish, bought a pair of black, under £14.

Brake side fits great, clutch side, hmmm, lever sticks out more and no way to get at the bottom of the clutch lever pivot, I’ll come up with a solution sooner of later.

I tried a pair of muffs a couple of winters ago but just couldn't take to them.  My hands were stricken with claustrophobia !   So I too source a pair of cheapo copies from the far east and have been delighted with them.  Sure, they took a bit of fiddling and a bit of brute force bending and twisting but the result satisfies me.

And they work !   Not long ago I managed to coup my TDM going up a kerb of all things and the hand guard didn't budge.....saved at least a lever.

I've got them on both my niners. Easy to fit and offer a lot of wind protection. They were only £13 when I got them.

Managed to fit handguards using the suppled brackets by attaching to the top of the brake and clutch pivot bolts, see photos. Bolt is a bit short on the brake side so used thread locker on the nut. Drilled and tapped the bar ends to take a 6 mm bolt..

Levers are cheap amazon span adjustable , which work OK except the clutch switch isn't operated in the lower two setting (least travel). Means that the bike can't be started in gear with the clutch in. Could use a bit of packing, but I just use setting 3 so works fine.

I got the same ones, with the yellow reflective stickers. But with OEM levers I cant see how they will fit either side on mine, even with the brake lever set to 5. Waynedear, how did you fit yours?

I have the same set laying around in the garage somewhere brand new, think I bought them when i got new screws from Aliexpress for my windscreen, because the original ones where messed up from over tightening from previous owner(s).

Thought about trying to fit them but there are 2 problems with them for me.

1) original levers do not want to fit properly, need shorter levers or ones that are little different shape.

2) have to modify weights like JonBoyTdm did

I'm thinking about going with Barkbuster Storm with a single side clamp solution as those should fit no matter if I keep the original handlebar or get a new handlebar.
