Here you go have a read, scroll down to post 53, mine was'nt so out of alignement as yours but the fix is posted further down, just a matter of undoing and doing up the hardware again..

so i read that from post 53 onwards, did you get that spacer / fork gap down to zero then?
spyball alarm/immob, bluespot brake calipers and Stainless hoses, Fournales air adjustable shock with Remote Resevoir, forks raised 10mm thru yokes, racetech linear fork springs in 15 wt oil, Kappa wingrack/luggage, heated grips, Kedo handguards, dual heat controller to power heated jacket liner and or pants!!, Stebel 136DB horn, K&N air filter, colour matched Baglux tank cover (magnetic tank bag modified to fit cover), osram +50% headloight bulbs, headlight protector,"NitramSpecial" parking loight, tail light indicators all running on LED's & incorporate "Lite Buddies", MK7 Scottoiler fitted, taller screen, 2-2 stainless steel CCC's, Devil stainless down pipes. MKI Renntec engine crash bars & sump guard.
engine changed july 2007 on a dyno run it made 79.1BHP / Torque 59.9Had a brief flirtation with a 1999 MKIIa but it blew an exaust valve on the M5 so was sold on to be repaired.

1 - Did you not forget to put the collars on both sides ?
2 - Before tightening the wheel axle nut, push down hard on the handlebar several times and check if the front fork rebounds smoothly. This may help all parts to get into the right position.
In case there is still a small gap, clear it by pushing the rhs fork leg inward, then tighten the wheel axle pinch bolt and finally check the front fork rebounds smoothly.

Sure did matey, loosened it all off a 2nd time after a little run out, i had serviced forks, off and back on a multitude of times before that event, the only difference being that i had put a new lower yoke on the bike, in the end the forks just needed loosening up and tweaking to fit properley, must of got them skew wiff at some point.
