Can anyone recommend an online supplier of decent quality stainless fastenings - nuts, bolts (allen head socket & button types), washers, etc. I've been buying as I need them from ebay, but find the quality a bit variable. I don't want to buy a box, or set of various sizes, as I end up with loads left over in odd sizes I'll never use. I just want to buy a small quantity of stuff for specific tasks every now & then.

This is my local man. I haven't bought remotely, but I call round, so cannot vouch for postal service, but he is good.
He understands bikes and has the fine thread M10 stuff. I suggest you phone if in doubt.

Not spoken to him in a good while, i think his interests have moved on to other things, although i heard mention he may be on Faceache these days !!

Thanks for all your pointers chaps, I'll take a look. As for Mr Henty, he is alive and well and a regular user of the Book of Faces. As Dablik said, his interests are varied and he's moved on, bikewise, to a Royal Enfield single, with all the challenges that presents an engineer of his calibre

It is a Royal Enfield, but not as we know it. It is brimming with stainless now.
2004 900 - Blue with lots of goodies
2012 900 - Still adding shiny bits. Was black, changed to white and now back to black again.
