Cake don't last long enough to make it into the pan ears dabbers!

Once I manage to get the pan ear off the boike oi have two gnu locks with 4 keys coming from egay 19squids.

Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.

New locks/keys arrived and fitted. Quality the same as givi/kappa. Keys are a much better cut with no thin point prone to snap. Also lubed the mechanism.

  did ya simply get lucky when buying the new keys with no thin point or did ya scour the adverts and chose what you thought looked to be the strongest key design?   Will ya hafta drill out the original locks to remove them?


spyball alarm/immob, bluespot brake calipers and Stainless hoses, Fournales air adjustable shock with Remote Resevoir, forks raised 10mm thru yokes, racetech linear fork springs in 15 wt oil, Kappa wingrack/luggage, heated grips, Kedo handguards, dual heat controller to power heated jacket liner and or pants!!, Stebel 136DB horn, K&N air filter, colour matched Baglux tank cover (magnetic tank bag modified to fit cover), osram +50% headloight bulbs, headlight protector,"NitramSpecial" parking loight, tail light indicators all running on LED's & incorporate "Lite Buddies", MK7 Scottoiler fitted, taller screen, 2-2 stainless steel CCC's, Devil stainless down pipes. MKI Renntec engine crash bars & sump guard.
engine changed july 2007 on a dyno run it made 79.1BHP / Torque 59.9Had a brief flirtation with a 1999 MKIIa but it blew an exaust valve on the M5 so was sold on to be repaired.

I loike tay and hang sangwiches !

Just ordered and hoped not same cut

Just an e clip holding in barrels, unclip and it all sploogs out. Very simple.

Helen from print room was asking after ewe t"other day.

sh*t the bed is she stihl working at Nort Devon DC ?  I have not seen she fer about 11-12 years!  I remember hers was trying to get a job elsewhere but i guess she simply stuck with it,  tink oil drop in and see her at some pint.

 

So how did you remove the panniers from the bike with no key,  i assumed you drilled them out or picked them loike the Pink Panther would do?

Apparently so. Memory terrible but now you mention it, I thought she had too as always spoke to Heidi when there.

Again terrible memory but I think last time I had one pan ear unlocked but stuck on boike and one locked and stuck on boike. The locked one had all my keys...and milk in it so I had no way of getting tools to solve. ... Think I managed to glue key back together to get in to pan ear...then had house keys to get tools (and have cuppa) and then found out how incredibly easy it is to make a very simple tool that removes the pan ears from the boike in seconds....gulp!!!! I reglued the key again to open it.

This time the key broke off as the pan ear opened...and had my house keys in. So I was able to access one remaining spare key to remove the other pan ear. Thought that would also have a snapped off key innit but it didn't. So how and when the second key broke I ruh roh.
