Hello,

DVG8 is on (pics soon rolleyes.gif ) I just need to fix it on the dashboard...

I'm thinking of using glue, so I wonder would I need to reprogram it in case of battery disconnecting ???

An old Cherokee told his grandson, "My son, there is a battle between two wolves inside us.
One is Evil. It is anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, humilty, kindness, empathy and truth.
The boy thought a while then asked "Which Wolf wins?"

"The one you feed" replied the old man...

Job done!

Only, I've taken neutral and tacho signal under the seat in the exit of the front sprocket cover:

And speed signal form the exit of the ABS ECU:

'FYI I just fitted one of these, using neutral from the back of the clocks and the ECU didn't work for some reason. It wouldn't detect neutral when the engine was running, however taking it from the sprocket cover worked.

I just wish someone would make a 'You are now in top' indicator. Some Yamaha's (eg 900 Divvies) have a gearshift which gives free travel when in 1st or top - therefore you can tell with your foot instantly whether another gear is still available without shutting the throttle or pulling the clutch. Admittedly, I reckon if I only ever rode the same bike it would be unnecessary, but I don't. Gear indicators seem to suffer from lag, but if the parameter was simply rpm in relation to roadspeed surely that can't be too complex to find top gears range and light an led?

I did the JBX gear indicator mod but for 6th gear only. Just one small green LED on the dash is all i need.

A thought - couldn't you do the JBX mod but run 6th only through the neutral light?  Be nearly inpossible to mistake 6th for neutral.

Use one extra screw and wire in series with N terminal.
