Had an epic ride taking in most of mid and South Wales as that’s where satnav took us.

 

Met up with the Yam Owners Club boys of which I am mod, did 650 miles and timed the weekend right for the sun too

Doin valve clearances? Use dappers valve shim exchange program and the job will be carroty - Free (other than you postin me yer shims) for sporting members.

Aberystwyth reminds me of the beach area of Whitehead, N.I where I had the pleasure of visiting last easter. Beautiful pics, by the way 👌

If you've never done that part of the country, I recommend it.

Didn't realise there was so much there. road surfaces were mainly smooth although you have to watch speed limits and the welsh police who are pretty strict on speedy perambulations. (we got speed gunned twice, but were not speeding)

 

From Manchester, it was only 3 hours away although I took the very long way down and it took 12 hours and loved every min

Had a few days during the week in Wales last year, roads were amazingly quiet. Will deffo be making another visit. :)

gr8 pics Drewpy,  can ya tell me where ya bought those handy looking bolt on highway pegs that are attached to the enjun bars please?  Nice to be able to stretch out yer feet and rest them on highway pegs.


spyball alarm/immob, bluespot brake calipers and Stainless hoses, Fournales air adjustable shock with Remote Resevoir, forks raised 10mm thru yokes, racetech linear fork springs in 15 wt oil, Kappa wingrack/luggage, heated grips, Kedo handguards, dual heat controller to power heated jacket liner and or pants!!, Stebel 136DB horn, K&N air filter, colour matched Baglux tank cover (magnetic tank bag modified to fit cover), osram +50% headloight bulbs, headlight protector,"NitramSpecial" parking loight, tail light indicators all running on LED's & incorporate "Lite Buddies", MK7 Scottoiler fitted, taller screen, 2-2 stainless steel CCC's, Devil stainless down pipes. MKI Renntec engine crash bars & sump guard.
engine changed july 2007 on a dyno run it made 79.1BHP / Torque 59.9Had a brief flirtation with a 1999 MKIIa but it blew an exaust valve on the M5 so was sold on to be repaired.

I loike tay and hang sangwiches !

got them off the bay of E 

 

had some metal P clips which I pop riveted to the engine bar as it rotated with weight on it.

 

Been a few years since I've had them so can't find the vendor
