The bike Gendarmes are a pretty friendly bunch, and don't give bikers much hassle if you are not being a total cock.
....I thought they were TDM riders .... ???
BTW, do speed cameras photograph the rear ? I Norway, bikers are immune to speed cameras

FJR 1300 for main road use I believe TDM for city use, maybe wrong anyway JBX will put me right

Such knowledge makes me suspect you eat snails with butter & garlic.
In the U.K. Most film the front of the vehicle but there are some exceptions I believe. Don't know about France
Here the b*****ds mostly shoot you in the back !
But as already said above, there is a big road sign at variable distance before the crime scene that you can't usually miss.
