Roight, I'm in need of a carb rebuild kit for my early 4TX 1996. Emulsion tubes/needle's must be of the right profile and must include the relevant gaskets, rubbers etc. Who can you recommend.

Oooh, ahhh, well.  Not many folk I know of have gone for the full carb kit, the Keyster carb kit is pretty comprehensive though.

The guy at NRP carbs has always been really friendly and helpful when I've bought stuff from them in the past.

EDIT:  You can also get the diaphragm's and choke plungers from NRP.

Just ordered the full rebuild kit from NRP. Carbs being ultrasonically cleaned with ultrasonic stuff. Whilst the carbs are off it's into the engun to check shimmy shammy's. Will touch base with Dappers if shimmy shammy's are required.

Good to see two of the elder statesmen of Carpe posting.

Are NRP kits ethanol resistant?

One would hope they are fit for purpose.

I really should pop in and see but work and getting other vehicles sorted has taken up time. Finally got the Dub Bus just about ready for our holibobs, MG is still in bits but ready to go back together after holibobs and just prepped and sold our Octavia. Time is my enemy but I'll drop him a line and see how he's getting on. Boop
