Sorry to throw a spanner in the works but I can't make the 15th or 16th as it's the Any Spare Change festival that weekend. For some reason I'd not put it on the calendar and didn't realise until my mate reminded me yesterday. sad.gif

I can make it either next weekend or the 22nd/23rd unsure.gif

OK Weekend 22nd/23rd it is Gents, either day suits me. Lets have a roll call of those who are thinking about turning up and which day day preferred?

Keep the hordes informed about which day you do this.

I may well be able to make it for a bit to maybe pass on / receive the benefit of experience or just meet some fellow TDMers.

I know the day is primarily for carbs but thought i would ask, could be another time as well.

Studley that would be great and yep would be a great start.......my nephew could probably work the electrics out, anyway thats assuming i'm not in work but may even forego a few hours sleep to get the switch fitted if i am, as ya know Bigred likes oil laugh.gif

Hi ya all,
I could come up for that fettling day and bring a few oil pressure bits with me for 850's. Bigred TDM needs one, but may need help fitting it.

What sort of cake does everyone like ? Homemade of course. Swmbo is making it but she doesn't know it yet. Are Jaffa cakes classed as cake or not ? 'cos I like them.

Never travel without a reserve supply of Jaffa cakes and coffee.

If the organiser/host could pm me with the postcode I can plan things in the satnav.

I can bring 10mm leds and holder, tapered reamer to fit plus all things electro-trickery. Wires, terminals, heat shrink meters etc. in the right sizes.

On the day, the bits will be cheaper as there will be no postage to pay.

Regards,

Lee Henty

Do you mean the rocker/valve cover gasket or the head gasket Erny ?

Valve cover one is easy enough in a day but the head gasket would be quite a challenge !

I've got the carb balancer-er, lots of lickle fings dat go in da carbs, and a sleeve full o' tricks so should be ok smile.gif

Should I bring the Haynes Manuel ?

I'm thinking of getting there for about 9.30am

Ian

Got a Haynes Manual here. tup.gif

All you 850 guys this would be an ideal opportunity to get an oil pressure switch fitted and save your engine from blowing up! Ask leehenty for details.
