10 years ago I was welcomed into this amazing fraternity of friendly, helpful, cooperative, knowledgeable fellow TDMsters and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Little did you realize that I would turn into "That Mad Bastard from Down Under" who rides a TDM Off-road and drinks "Cold Beer"

:drinks:

To help celebrate the occasion, I received an extremely kind invitation from Sidey to come back for a ride sometime.

His Quote was: "However, you'll need new tyres for what I have planned for you".   :groucho:      .......

The fast & furious "Tour de Europa 2016" was set: .... "Picos de Europa"; "The Pyrenees" and the "French & Italian Alps" here we come

There would be no prisoners taken for smokers or photographers.     :unsure2:

............. it's all "Ride Baby! . . . Ride Baby! . . . Ride" on the most amazingly clean, smooth, uncambered, grippy, winding, fantastic roads I have ever ridden, relentlessly for corner after corner after corner after corner ........... until your hands, arms & elbows ache.  :yeahbaby:

(Oh! I included with permission, a slight detour via the Welsh Highlands & The Wild Atlantic Way   :P ).

I was on  :cloud9: .

My story starts here "Masterbrewer's Carpe 10th Anniversary Visit"

and follows on here: "Masterbrewer Meets the Trough of Bowland"

Studley Ramrod's detailed Ride Report is here:  Sideys Euro Tour 2016

My video Ride Report ; Masterbrewer's "Tour de Europa" 2016   Part 1 UK Midlands & Wales

Note:  Video is best viewed on a big screen.

Hi Guys

Apologies for delays in uploading my 4.7G's of 2 minute videos from Sidey's fabulous "trip of a life time" adventure for this simple Aussie 'mad bastard' who rides a TDM supposedly where no TDM's aren't meant to go.

Since returning "Downunder" I have been thrown into the deep end of some life changing events ....... luckily ...  health wise no problem.  :oldgit:

It may be another month before I see myself free enough to share more.

Cheers

MB

To be fair Ian  - He's still waiting for Doddy to dig out the GPX files from the trip

And Doddy's bike is in storage until he gets his extension finished

It all started in July 2014 with "hartside man's"  (Marks) fantastic videos

https://www.youtube....mreKhSO3AVuAVz3

Well, it's finally time to come ride with Masterbrewer again, Sidestand, Studley Ramrod & Doddy and my many new riding buddies who generously led me astray in their local neck of the woods.    :cloud9:

A big thank you   :drinks:

I thought the heart racing, throaty V8 sound of your amazing TDM on acceleration would have been more prevalent.   :sorry:

Suppose it gives reassurance to Sidey & Chrisb that I wasn't working the TDM too hard keeping up with you & the traction controlled Beemers.   :P
