Sorry guys, I know this topic has been discussed a lot, but to save me going through page after page, has anyone tried using 10w50 in an 850 engine? If so did it use less oil? As I was thinking of giving it a go.

Best oil for the TDM SAE 10W40
The TDM burning too much oil take SAE 15W40.
The TDM engine starts in the winter bad go back to SAE 10W40.
The TDM burns in the summer very much oil use SAE 30 oil.
