GG Randonne 125, air cooled, 2hp, pukka frame & brakes. Road legal. Awesome wee bike.

   Nice one.  Could you tell us more about the bike, is it road legal , where could I get one etc.

LOL, yeah, it's apparently about 12hp, 86kg wet. Motor is based on the old Yamaha 125 air cooled motor but built in China to GG specs. It's a well specced wee bike & does not bite like a 2t. Perfect learner bike, it wheelies if you raise your eyebrows but does not snap up. Suspension bounces & bunny hops like a pro bike, Galfer brakes, Domino throttle ect. Comes with a seat & fully road legal. You can get rid of the road gear, stick on a bigger back sprocket & ride air cooled trials on it. Quick & easy. Leccy & kick start.

We are using it to develop our skills, trail ride etc.

I love it, ties me in knots.

Yeah thanks HK , realised what it was after the event as it were. Main importers of the Gas Gas here in France, they also  import the Chinese made  Mash 500 that has just arrived in the UK

Ha, that's my "Aaaaaaaaargh, going down!" face. Bin or win. Wee bugger has nigh on 90o of lock and needs more technique than I have to turn on the lock stops. Does wonders for balance and I'm getting there, fall by fall.

I havent even started yet! no doubt I'll have a few falls (Couple of hundred at least) before I can resemble someone who looks like he knows what he's doing!

Had 4 offs toady. 2 into trees, wrapped the clutch lever round me fingers on one and it reared up when the clutch bounced off a tree on another. Front went on a loose rock trying to get a tight turn in the scrub & I dug the bash plate into a log. Bloody marvelous. All at walking pace. I did learn to bounce the rear wheel & cleaned an uncleanable gully. Happy days.

 

Do it. Get one. And a pile of rocks and tires. I haven't laughed or sweated as much in years..

 

Oh, TDM relevance. It's road fixing season at the mo and it's a revelation being able to ride tubs at bugger all mph, feet up, in a traffic queue without wobbling.
