Called in Halfords today for new spark plugs. Could only find 1 x DPRS8EA but 2 x DRS8EA as I didn't know the difference I asked an assistant who just gave me blank looks, but he said Jim knows all about motorcycles and spark plugs and called him over.
I asked Jim the question and he gave me a positive answer that the number of the plug applied to the size of the gap, when I questioned this he stood firm so I left the store to try somewhere else.

Numpty!

I can tell you the R is for resistor, but I bet you knew that. Don't know what the S is for.

edit

S is super copper core.

I think Halfrauds employees know all about fitting Lexus lights to Citroën Saxos and giant exhausts to Corsas... and that's about it.

Buying from a local independent bike shop is (usually) your best bet. May be a couple of quid more, but usually get far better service. (note I said usually and not always. )

Rip off prices keep 'em afloat.

Trade card gets good deals now and then, handy for Sunday last min jobs imo. And yeah the pro tools are good, I like my flexi head spanners a LOT even over my SnapOn stuff, very happy with them and the tool boxes, rather have quality tools in a low end box than shite tools in a quality box haha..
