I have been working on Jet for the past 8 weeks doing all the little jobs I wanted to do.

Took it out for a spin yesterday and what a difference. Main things I notice was the lower wind pressure on my chest and helmet and the pull on my arms, riding feels effortless. Should have bought one ages ago.

The MRA screen is a revelation and I have probably tried and invented a few radical solutions. ie my Ned Kelly screen, which gave you total clean air, but every fly in the world hit your visor, so much so I had to buy a new visor cleaner from M&P. I would stop and have to clean my visor where as Chris on his BM fookin W would not have one. :punishment:

I bought it new from this company arrived in two days so I would recommend. http://www.bs-motopa...CFYkKwwod-RcAQA

The other difference was the additional bar end weight that came with the new hand guards, these where about 100g and where bolted on to end of the standard weights which I had threaded. This make the handle bars more stable with much reduced vibration. ( Yes there off a GfookinS 1150) . :hide:

Overall these are the best add on's I have done in ages. Totally transformed the bike to a better tourer, more leisurely ride altogether....... :good:

I cannot wait to get back out on it.

Cheers, Ivan

Handguard spoilers have been OK for me... 30,000 miles of use. With mra vario as well.
But I may be a secret bm seeker ... That new R1200RS looks tasty for £10,300!

Have to say your bike grey and grey wheels is spot on Ivan ... they should have done an update bsed on this for 2015

Cheers

That's more like the fecking Shard than a screen , Steve   :rotflmmfao:

I've got the MRA screen on 3 bikes & they're very good - work on the lower settings best - more to do with equalising pressure than deflection I reckon, so the height isn't too important - reduces buffeting

Similar principle with the BMW handguards - the additional deflectors often make them worse
