How many of them have you done? And has the bike needed any major work in that time?

The enjun seized and shoved a con rod through the sump liberally applying what oil was left to his back wheel and some plop to his pants!!!!
When we went to pick it up twev didn't know what was wrong with it....the big hole in the sump shoulda been a clue. He thought the back wheel was locked because enjun was seized so he was quite surprised when we snicked it out of gear and pushed it into the van....past the drag marks in the gravel he had made dragging it into the garage. ʘ‿ʘ
So I rebuilt one of the garden ornament enjuns and shoved it in there. Boike was already on approx 45,000 by that point. All other components checked and made mechanically excellent (not bothered how it looks). That took me a few years to get around to as I had a MK2 already and had clocked up 50,000+ on dat. So I'm also on 100,000 TDM moiles. There was no point in keeping both when MK1 finished and since the MK2 was in excellent mechanical AND aesthetic condition (no use to me for strapping onto ferries etc) the MK2 went.
So yes..it has needed a few bits...an enjun...ermm...other than that fuel pump (though orig still works). Farter solenoid (orig still works) Mulshion toobs....I have changed shock for mk2. Most udder bits are original but many rebuilt.
I have loads of bits that I rebuilt in 2012 and on...calipots, master cyl and brake lions, forks, etc but never got around to fitting plus some licky bits from dabbers boike and also a new garden ornament that I started rebuilding....but interested to know how far me rebuilt unit will go before needing work so no point in hurrying that..started about 10 years ago.

All tangs present. Some switched to a red tang alternative (you can't upgrade from yellow). And a larger species of yellow tang fitted....just can't remember where. Edit: oh I see top left. Started with 1 tang....maybe it's time for a final tang there.

Triggers broom (no longer called "the tdm") got some fancy new wheels today...fancy because they are painted and have new bearings and tyres and discs and pads...thanks dabbers.
Lots more treats (mostly from dabbers) to go but that'll wait till winter.
