Nice bike and well priced, that panel should be an easy fix, best of luck with the sale

Thanks, was hoping it was at the right price. Really reluctant to put it on that auction site, 10% final sale fees is a killer :(

Hi Iain,
You could list it in the classifieds for a one-off upfront fee (about £15)?
No final valuation fee
Just a thought.
Cheers.

Don't worry about paypal.

Best to put cash or bank transfer (and mention it in description)

In my experience most buyers would want to view before committing so you can sort the payment out on the spot.

I hope this makes sense?

On eBay it's best to put it on as a buy it now at a slightly inflated price, but say in your listing you're open to offers.

That way, a potential buyer will contact you with the usual offer etc and then when you say yes to any deal you take cash etc and then the eBay listing never actually gets closed as sold.  You just go in and cancel the listing with the reason being it sold elsewhere or it's no longer for sale.  That way you've sold through eBay as the advertising platform but not been hit with the commission.

If you're lucky enough to get someone click buy it now, at the inflated price, the extra cash then pays for the commission anyway :)

'kin eck 10%!! I didn't know. You probably get it sold through a dealer for 15% and he'll want to get as much money as possible for it. And you won't have all the tyre kickers offering you stupid money. Only downside  is the risk of a part ex.

Hi Iain,

One TDM disappears from the Borders but another 2 arrive. Just moved back to God's country and looking forward to exploring the Borders on my TDMs.

My Kymco cruiser's gearbox packed after 12 years. A van comes round and picks up these worthless bikes and takes them off to Poland.
